State Government announces INVEST Goa 2024 Summit to be organized in collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

Panaji: Goa Industrial Development Corporation (Goa-IDC) announced the launch of its refreshed brand identity with the unveiling of a dynamic new logo.
The new logo encapsulates the corporation’s renewed dedication to fostering industrial progress, embracing change and meeting the evolving needs of Goa’s industrial landscape. The sleek design and vibrant elements mirror the forward-thinking approach of Goa-IDC, representing a bold step into the future. The new logo symbolizes its visionary commitment to embracing change and leading the way in sustainable industrial development in Goa.
The unveiling of the new Goa-IDC logo was held at the hands of the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, Minister for Industries, Mauvin Godinho, Chairman-Goa-IDC, Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, V. Candavelou, IAS, Principal. Secretary (Industries), Swetika Sachan, Director (DITC) and Pravimal Abhishek, MD-Goa-IDC alongwith distinguished industry heads Shrinivas Dempo – President of GCCI, Manguirish Pai Raikar, Chairman, ASSOCHAM, Anirudh Dempo – President of GSIA; Anirudh Agrawal, Chairman-CII Goa, Damodar Kochkar, ex-President GSIA and Ankur Pramal, State Head – CII Goa along with President of various IDC associations.
Goa Industrial Development Corporation (Goa-IDC) also announced the highly anticipated INVEST Goa 2024 Summit, to be held on 29th January’2024 at Taj Cidade-de-Goa, Dona Paula, Goa.
The flagship event organized by the State Government in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as the National Partner is aimed at fostering Industrial development and collaboration in the state of Goa.
The INVEST Goa 2024 Summit will explore key highlighting on government policies, including the Goa Industrial Growth and Investment Promotion Policy 2022, Goa Logistics and Warehousing Policy 2023, Goa Electric Mobility Promotion Policy 2021, and Goa Startup Policy 2021.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Chief Minister, Dr.Pramod Sawant, stated that “The unveiling of the new Goa-IDC logo is a momentous occasion for Goa-IDC, representing not just a visual transformation but a commitment to growth and a significant shift in industrial policies. The emphasis on welcoming green industries is a visionary step, inviting prosperity and job security for our fellow Goans. I am confident that Invest GOA 2024 Summit will be instrumental in supporting the state’s endeavour to grow further through enhancing industrial engagement and constructively engaging with global stakeholders.”
He also added that “The INVEST Goa 2024 Summit will serve as a pivotal platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to come together and explore opportunities for sustainable economic growth in the state.
Minister for Industries, Mauvin Godinho stated that ” As we forge ahead, the new logo serves as a beacon, signalling our dedication to fostering a business-friendly environment and propelling Goa’s industries to new heights. It encapsulates the spirit of evolution and resilience that defines our approach, reflecting the transformative journey that lies ahead for the industrial sector in Goa. I aspire to propel our state to new heights by envisioning it as the foremost logistics and warehousing hub. Through strategic initiatives and partnerships, we aim to position Goa as a key player in the logistics sector, fostering economic growth and maximizing the potential of our resources.”
Goa-IDC’s refreshed logo comes at a time when the organization is actively working towards attracting new investments, fostering innovation and promoting job creation within the state. The unveiling ceremony attended by key stakeholders, government officials and industry leaders marked a symbolic moment in the history of industrial development in Goa.

Over the past year, Goa-IDC has undertaken various new commitments, showcasing its dedication to progress and innovation. The achievements include the notification of the GOA-IDC Regulations 2023 and the completion of a comprehensive survey of all industrial areas following a strategic MoU with DSLR. Additionally, Goa-IDC has actively pursued infrastructure-related projects with a total investment of 50 crores and an additional 50 crores earmarked for future utilization. Goa-IDC is proud to be the first corporation in the country to leverage Digital Public Goods. Our logo reflects our journey into the digital era, emphasizing efficiency, transparency and a commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements. Goa-IDC are pioneers in initiating the use of the Industrial Park rating system, showcasing our dedication to maintaining high standards and best practices in industrial development.
