PANAJI: The Department of Co-operation will organise a ‘Chaturthi Bazaar’ at Shri Zareshwar Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, Old Bus Stand, Ponda, from August 23 to 25, 2025.
The three-day bazaar aims to provide a common platform for Self Help Groups (SHGs) to exhibit their produce and products, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for business promotion. Registered SHGs under the Cooperative Act, as well as those aspiring to register, are eligible to participate.
Stalls will be provided to the groups to display their products, while wide publicity will also be ensured for participants. A registration counter for SHGs will be opened at the venue from 9.00 am on August 23.
The bazaar will be inaugurated by Shri Subhash A. Shirodkar, Minister for WRD, Co-operation & Provedoria, Government of Goa, at 10.00 am on the opening day.
