DABOLIM: Passengers at Goa International Airport, Dabolim, were treated to a unique experience on Thursday as the Airports Authority of India (AAI) hosted an exclusive Culinary Masterclass with renowned chef Saurabh Puri.
The live session, held at the airport lounge operated by Travel Food Services (TFS), saw enthusiastic participation from travellers, including children, and was attended by senior AAI officials, CISF representatives, and special invitees. Airport Director C. George Varghese welcomed Chef Puri at the inaugural event.
The masterclass also marked the launch of a new initiative — a weekly Thursday Culinary Series — where celebrated chefs will bring fresh flavours and gourmet experiences to passengers at the airport.
Chef Puri, currently Executive Chef at The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino, showcased his expertise in Italian, Continental, and regional cuisines, earning wide appreciation from those present.
AAI said the programme is part of its passenger-centric engagement strategy aimed at making travel “memorable beyond the journey.”
