Goa is for Goans and we will keep reminding this to the Govt who is busy working in the interest of Adani”, said Surel Tilve.
In his address, Adv. Surel Tilve said that Aam Aadmi Party stands with people of Goa in such a trying and challenging times and shall always stand with Goans. Goa’s fate should be decided by Goans and not any Adanis or even the BJP leaders sitting in Delhi.
Adv. Surel said further, “The Aam Aadmi Party is asking 5 questions to CM Pramod Sawant. Mr. Sawant will have to give the answers to these questions to the people of Goa.”
1. Why did you not ask Goans before allowing double track project for Adanis?
2. People feel that this project will not bring any benefit to Goans. Kindly name one benefit that Goans will have due to this project.
3. Are you personally, alongwith your family, willing to stay near the tracks to suffer the consequences of coal transport?
4. Why did you surrender the interests of Goans and put their lives and health at risk on the orders of Delhi BJP leaders? Does it now show that you don’t care for Goans?
5. What are your relations with Adanis? What are BJP’s relations with Adanis? How much have Adanis donated to BJP party and its leaders in last five years?
Mr Pramod Sawant, people of Goa have fought many battles in the past and have made huge sacrifices to preserve Goan identity and culture. We Goans will not let that go in vain. GOA IS FOR GOANS, not for Adanis. Goans have suffered a lot during Congress and BJP regimes when decisions about Goa were taken in Delhi against the wishes of Goans. Enough is enough. Goans will not tolerate this anymore.
Mr Pramod Sawant, now, Goans will decide for Goa. Decisions about Goa will be taken by Goans and not BJP or Congress leaders sitting in Delhi, Adv. Tilve stated.
