PANAJI: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said the process of obtaining necessary permissions/clearances as required for the construction of the Ropeway project from Panaji to Reis Magos Fort in Saligao Constituency is in process.
“The process of obtaining necessary permissions/clearances as required for construction of the Ropeway project is in progress,” said Khaunte
“After receipt of all the permissions/clearances required for construction work, the project shall be completed within the stipulated period of 2 years,” he added.
The Minister also said that the actual construction work of the project will commence post receipt of all permissions/clearances required for the project and the estimated cost of the project is Rs.225 crores.
