Panaji: As part of its milestone centenary celebrations, Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Miramar, is set to host the much-anticipated ‘Centenary Quiz’ for Higher Secondary School students from across Goa on Saturday, August 16, 2025, starting at 9:00 am. The event will take place at the club’s Estela Hall on the ground floor and will be conducted by noted quiz master Arch. Rajiv D’Silva, known for his engaging style and challenging questions. Teams comprising two participants each will represent various Higher Secondary schools in a spirited general knowledge contest that promises to test wit, awareness, and quick thinking. The ‘Centenary Quiz’ forms part of a series of cultural and sporting events planned throughout the year, leading up to the club’s 100th anniversary, and aims to promote knowledge-sharing, healthy competition, and youth participation. Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, a landmark institution in Goa’s sporting and social landscape, hopes the quiz will inspire young minds to broaden their horizons while enjoying the spirit of camaraderie.
