PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has approved the setting up of a dedicated taxi counter at Mopa Airport.
The move comes after requests from Pernem MLA Pravin Arlekar and Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar.
The new taxi counter is scheduled to become operational from Monday.
The announcement was made in the presence of police officials and representatives of taxi unions, aiming to streamline passenger transport and improve airport services.
