PANAJI: CM Dr Pramod Sawant has asked details from Health Secretary with regard to drop of Ivermectin medicine from COVID treatment protocol.
Goa Government was using Ivermectin medicine as part of prophylaxis treatment.
“I have asked for details from Health Secretary with regard to drop of Ivermectin medicine from COVID treatment protocol,” said CM Sawant
Health ministry has written to the doctors’ community to drop drugs like hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, doxycycline, zinc, multivitamins etc from prescription.
CM Sawant today chaired meeting to review Budget 2021-22 implementation. The meeting was attended by Secretaries & HODs.
“the last meeting was held one and half month back; meeting was to ensure implementation of the Budget in time bound manner,” he added
