PANJIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today has assured the Nuvem MLA and the six panchayats that government will stop coal handling in the state in a phased manner.
The CM has also assured to keep the work of double tracking on hold until further decisions are made.
These assurances were made by Chief Minister Sawant during a meeting with Nuvem MLA Wilfred Dsa along with 6 panchayats.
