Madkai MLA Sudin Dhavlikar has taken a dig at Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant’s comments of doubling the milk production by the end of the year saying instead of increasing the State government has convened to finish the Goa Dairy.
At a function, on Sunday, CM said the production of Goa Dairy would be doubled to 1.5 lakh litres a day from existing 85,000 litres per day.
“This government made all efforts to finish off Goa Dairy by bringing in SUMUL to Goa,” he said.
Dhavalikar said that if the CM can achieve the target he would supply two litres of milk everyday to his bungalow free of cost.
Dhavalikar also slammed for his dirty politics of stealing councillors, MAs and Panchas from other parties.
“Despite all efforts and stealing of MLAs, councillors and Sarpanch Panch members, BJP will not cross single digit,” he said.
On Mhadei, he said, Goa has already lost Mhadei water which is diverted to Malprabha and now Karnataka plans to divert Dudhsagar.
