Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant handed over appointment letters to 21 accountants selected through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), urging them to remain humble and people-centric in their approach to public service.
Addressing the newly recruited officials, the Chief Minister cautioned that securing a government position or a higher post should not lead to arrogance. He underlined that government officers are first and foremost servants of the people and must carry out their responsibilities with humility, integrity and dedication.
Dr. Sawant stressed that public trust is built through sincere and honest service, adding that efficiency and ethical conduct are essential in strengthening governance. He encouraged the appointees to work with a sense of responsibility and compassion while serving the public.
The Chief Minister congratulated the newly appointed accountants and wished them success in their careers, expressing confidence that they would contribute meaningfully to the state administration.
