MARGAO: In a significant development linked to the Mirabag agitation, protest leader Upendra Naik stated that the Chief Minister has indicated a positive response towards withdrawing cases filed against four protestors.
The cases were registered against the individuals for carrying placards and staging a protest inside the Goa Legislative Assembly premises during the agitation.
The demand for withdrawal of these cases was one of the key points raised by the protestors as part of their charter of demands.
