PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant placed a wreath on the memorial of the Pintos Revolt at Martyrs Memorial, Salvador de Souza Garden, Panaji, today.
Minister for Revenue, Shri Atanasio Monserrate; Mayor of the Corporation City of Panaji, Rohit Monserrate; Collector, North Goa District, Smt Mamu Hage and others graced the occasion.
The Government has decided to have a solemn function to acknowledge the contribution of Pintos Revolt.
Police Guard of honour paid compliments to the memorial.
