DUBAI: Pramod Sawant attended and addressed the valedictory function of the 3rd International AYUSH Conference & Exhibition organised by the World Ayurved Foundation and the Science India Forum in Dubai.
The event was held in the presence of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH and Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav, senior officials, esteemed AYUSH practitioners, members of the Indian Mission in UAE, and other dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sawant said, “The vibrant participation of global experts reaffirms that traditional systems of medicine are not merely our heritage, but an evidence-based pathway to preventive, affordable and holistic healthcare.”
He further stated that under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India continues to lead the world in advancing integrative health and promoting AYUSH systems globally.
Emphasising Goa’s commitment to this vision, the Chief Minister said the state is focused on strengthening research, collaboration and wellness ecosystems. “Goa remains committed to strengthening research, collaboration and wellness ecosystems, and we welcome the world to experience authentic AYUSH therapies in India,” he added.
The conference witnessed active participation from global experts and practitioners, highlighting the growing international recognition of India’s traditional systems of medicine.
