Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has reaffirmed his government’s dedication to promoting sports and youth welfare across Goa, emphasizing ongoing efforts to upgrade infrastructure and nurture young talent.
Dr. Sawant said the government, through the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Sports Authority of Goa, is continuously working to strengthen sports infrastructure, coaching facilities, and youth-centric programs throughout the state.
He noted that these initiatives aim to encourage participation in sports at the grassroots level and help Goan athletes achieve success at national and international platforms.
Highlighting the broader vision behind these efforts, Dr. Sawant stated that the government’s focus on holistic youth development and improved training facilities seeks to build a fit, skilled, and competitive generation for the future.
