PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has recommended the grant of provisional trade licenses to the applicants as a relief till the final license is issued.
“I have recommended grant of provisional trade licences to the applicants as a relief till the final licence is issued,” said CM Sawant.
He further appealed to local bodies to ensure that recommendation is adopted to avoid illegal trade.
Speaking on Marigold Plantation, Sawant congratulated and thanked the farmers who took up the commercial farming of Marigold, taking Goa on the path of Swayampurna in the sector.
“I thank and congratulate all the agriculture department officials for extending all the support to farmers & producers. With collective efforts of all stakeholders, Goa shall definitely be Swayampurna in every sector,” he added.
On Chaturthi Bazaar, he said that the Swayampurna Chaturthi Bazaar shall extend a better platform for entrepreneurs to serve people with their ventures.
“This is the first of its kind initiative being organized by the State Govt. for Goans to sell their homemade Chaturthi sweets, flowers, matoli items,” he said.
