PANJIM: The Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today announced release of Rs 27 crores towards Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSSS) and another Rs 20 crores for Griha Adhar beneficiaries.
“Even amidst the COVID-19 crisis, our government is committed to its strong belief in ‘Antyodaya’,” he tweeted.
Earlier in June, CM had approved release of installment for DSSS & Griha Aadhar providing relief to more than 2,65,000 beneficiaries and families,”
The Government was under attack from opposition for failing to release the installments of the beneficiaries under various social welfare schemes.
