PORVORIM: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of key infrastructure projects being implemented by the Government of Goa, with a total outlay of ₹512.91 crore.
These projects are being funded under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment scheme of the Government of India.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the overall implementation status of the works, including utilisation of funds and adherence to stipulated timelines.
He directed all executing departments to expedite the pace of work, strengthen inter-departmental coordination and ensure that projects are completed on schedule so that the benefits reach the people of Goa at the earliest.
Dr Sawant reiterated the State government’s commitment to fast-tracking development initiatives that support economic growth, strengthen public infrastructure and improve the overall quality of life for citizens.
He emphasised the need for effective monitoring and timely execution to maximise the impact of the investments.
