PONDA: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant campaigned in Ponda for BJP candidate Ritesh Ravi Naik, interacting with residents, transport stakeholders and youth while seeking support for the upcoming Assembly by-election.
During his outreach, Sawant said he was encouraged by the “immense love, trust and support” shown by the people during the campaign. He stated that the party remains committed to carrying forward the legacy of late leader Ravi Naik and ensuring all-round development of Ponda.
The Chief Minister also met members and stakeholders of transport associations, where he listened to their concerns and assured them of necessary steps to address issues affecting the sector. He reiterated that development initiatives would continue in line with the government’s vision of a “Viksit Goa”.
Sawant further interacted with youth at a Yuva Sammelan organised by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in support of the BJP candidate. He highlighted the role of young people in shaping the future and expressed satisfaction over the strong turnout and enthusiastic participation.
“Youth power is one of the strongest pillars of Viksit Bharat. We remain committed to empowering our youth to lead the journey towards Viksit Goa and Viksit Bharat,” Sawant said, while urging voters to extend support to Ritesh Naik in the by-election.
