Panaji: The blame game of the Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on the government staff for non-performance of the BJP government led by him is an endorsement to the stand of the Congress that this government is Defective, Insensitive and Corrupt charged GPCC General Secretary Amarnath Panjikar in a press conference at Congress house today.
It is shocking that the Chief Minister did not utter a single word about the mass corruption done by his entire Cabinet including himself while speaking at the Vigilance Awareness Week programme. The Chief Minister had no guts to comment on various orders passed by the Lokayukta of Goa on Scams and Scandals of various Ministers of the BJP government said Amarnath Panjikar.
The anger of the Chief Minister on the various government officials holding them solely responsible for failing to fulfil basic needs of the people was out of frustration targeting those government officers who have now refused to be part of “Mission Commission” agenda of the BJP government which has hampered the Fortune making programme of the BJP Cadre. The government staff have now realised that this governments days are numbered.
CM Dr. Pramod Sawant who claimed yesterday that he has connections with Peons and Clerks in every department must clarify who is the “Malak / Malik” who is attached to Bicholim Police station and collects Haftas in the name of his political godfather said Amarnath Panjikar. He further said that Chief Minister should must also come clean and reveal who got the share of Rs. 6 lakhs seized from a gambling gang at a hotel in Colva few days back demanded Amarnath Panjikar.
The Congress Party has already warned all the officials that all corruption cases will be probed thoroughly once the Congress government comes to power in 2022. Eradicating corruption from the administration will be the prime focus of our agenda and manifesto stated Amarnath Panjikar.
It was his duty to speak about the Performance of the Vigilance Department which Dr. Pramod Sawant conveniently ignored & instead chose the trade mark diversionary tactic of the BJP by accusing the government officers of non-performance which is actually the failure of the Chief Ministers incompetency and result of his defective administration stated Amarnath Panjikar.
People of Goa want to know the stand of the government on the inquiries ordered by the Lokayukta in almost 21 Scams of various departments involving the Ministers, BJP office bearers and functionaries. What has happened to the Beach Cleaning Scam, Cyberage Scam, Construction Workers Welfare Funds Scam, TCP Scam, IFFI Scam, Spaces Building Rent Scam, Life Guard Scam, Pay Parking Scam and various other Scams which have taken place after the BJP came to power in 2012 questioned Amarnath Panjikar.
Why the Chief Minister does not become “Vocal to talk on the Scandals of the Local” like his own Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant alias Babu Kavlekar found in “High Spirits” at a Five Star Hotel on Gandhi Jayanti?, Why Dr. Pramod Sawant is silent on the “Vulgar Video” posted by Babu Kavlekar on “Village Group of Goa”? asked Amarnath Panjikar.
We want to warn the Chief Minister that he should stop blaming others for his failures and instead work to ensure that his administration is people sensitive. People of Goa are watching the misdeeds of Dr. Pramod Sawant led government and will teach them a lesson in the Zilla Panchayat, Municipal Council and 2022 Assembly Elections.
