PALE: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant launched the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections in Pale by offering prayers at Shri Laxminarayan Devasthan, Naveli–Sakhali, on Tuesday. The CM was joined by party karyakartas as the BJP formally rallied behind its ZP candidate, Shri Sundar Naik.
Sawant said the campaign beginning with divine blessings symbolised the party’s commitment to development-driven governance. “I am confident that the people of Pale and North Goa will once again bless the BJP with a decisive mandate in the Zilla Panchayat elections, strengthening our Triple Engine Sarkar and accelerating all-round development for Viksit Goa, Viksit Bharat,” he said.
The BJP is banking on its “Triple Engine” narrative—Centre, State, and Local Body under BJP rule—to appeal to voters and reinforce its development agenda. The Chief Minister asserted that Pale has consistently supported the party and will continue to play a key role in advancing Goa’s growth under BJP leadership.
As part of the local campaign, Sawant also walked through the constituency with karyakartas and met residents, emphasising that Sundar Naik’s victory would ensure continuity of welfare schemes and infrastructure projects in the region.
With the Zilla Panchayat elections nearing, the event signals the BJP’s intensified outreach strategy and highlights Pale as a constituency where the party expects strong electoral support.
