PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that some politicians are tarnishing Goa’s image on national front using social media platforms and that such people need to be taught a lesson by public
“Be it on covid, vaccine, police, education or tourism, politicians are using social media platform to tarnish Goa image and such people need to be taught lesson by public,” said CM after inaugurating the new police outpost in St Cruz Constituency
He further said that what we say, what we tweet and what we upload on social media damages the image of the state.
“The people of Goa should teach a lesson to such politicians; they have been doing this for their own personal gain, some politicians are doing this raking up issues related to tourism, crime, education, covid etc. for gaining political mileage, he added
Meanwhile, CM said that crime rate has come down in Goa and crime detection rate has gone up while stating that society has an important role to play in lowering crime rate further.
