PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that the state health department would target to complete Tika Ustav 3.0 by October 30.
CM Sawant said that the state has already achieved the target of 10 lakhs as of now.
“State health department will target to complete Tika Ustav 3.0 by October 30; the state has already achieved the target if ten lakhs as of now,” said CM Sawant
He further thanked the people of Goa for their overwhelming support and our Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare workers for their tireless efforts in the vaccination drive.
The state government has held two “Tika Utsavs” in the past involving all panchayats and municipal councils. Sawant further said the opposition parties were “unnecessarily” criticising the Tika Utsavs when they had been garnering good responses from the public
Meanwhile, Government has launched Tika Utsav 1.2 from 5th July, which will emphasise administering the 2nd dose of vaccine to those who have completed 84 days.
