CALANGUTE: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said that the overwhelming public response to the BJP’s Zilla Panchayat outreach programmes across North Goa constituencies reflects the people’s deep trust in the party’s commitment to development, good governance and last-mile delivery.
“The enthusiastic response from people across constituencies shows their confidence in BJP’s development-oriented approach and our resolve to build a Saksham Zilla Panchayat and a Saksham Goa. Our karyakartas are working tirelessly to take the government’s vision and welfare initiatives to every doorstep,” said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
The Chief Minister was referring to a series of BJP outreach programmes held in Calangute, Anjuna and Siolim Zilla Panchayat constituencies. In Calangute ZP constituency, BJP leaders joined candidate Franzilia Rodrigues along with Calangute MLA Michael Lobo and party karyakartas, where the public response was described as highly encouraging.
Similarly, in the Anjuna ZP constituency, BJP candidate Narayan Mandrekar connected with voters on the ground in the presence of MLA Delilah Lobo and dedicated party workers. The interaction witnessed strong public participation, indicating widespread support for BJP’s policies and grassroots connect.
Addressing public meetings at Camurlim, Sodye and Dando under the Siolim ZP constituency, BJP candidate Maheshwar Govekar, along with MLA Delilah Lobo and party karyakartas, received an enthusiastic response from residents, who expressed confidence in BJP’s leadership and developmental agenda.
Dr. Sawant reiterated that the BJP remains committed to strengthening local self-governance institutions and ensuring inclusive development through empowered Zilla Panchayats. “The trust shown by the people inspires us to work harder for transparent governance, sustainable development and a prosperous Goa,” he added.
