PORVORIM: The fourteen day session of the Goa Legislative assembly begins tomorrow with the Chief minister Dr Pramod Sawant presenting the budget on the first day.
While the CM will preaent budget on Wednesday, the Chief Minister is expected to take vote on account in coiplw of days after discussions on Budget.
Narmata Ulman, Secretaty Legislature informed that enough time has been allotted for discussion on Budget.
She informed further that there would 568 starred questions and 1071 unstarrd questions tabled by MLAs.
Besides, she added, the MLAs have also table 15 private member resolutions.
“There will be three Private Members seatings so there would be enough time to diacuss all 15 resolutions, she added.
The secretary further said there are several zero hour mentions and calling attentions tabled.
The Opposition MLAs had demanded curtailing of Budget in view of municipal elections in five municipap councils.
The Chief Minister Dt Pramod Sawant has rejected the suggestions saying Budget will not have any bearing on Election.
