Honourable Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant along with Dy CM & MLA Pernem Shri Babu Ajgaonkar, MLA Mandrem Constituency , Chairman Goa tourism development Shri. Dayanand Sopte today visited the Pernem Police Station and felicitated the Police Inspector Shri Jivba Dalvi and his staff for cracking the major drug case by seizing drugs worth 01 crore in last week.
The CM had words of motivation and appreciation towards the Inspector and his team for pro actively working towards making the coastal taluka Drug free and directed that such seizures should be carried on in future.
Also out of 15 coconut saplings one coconut was planted by the Honble CM in the premises of police station aiming towards Go green initiative of Govt of Goa.
PI Dalvi informed that such motivation is always welcomed and the action against illegal drugs will be continued.
