CANACONA: Canacona Municipal Council (CMC) Councillor Shubham Komarpant had submitted memorandum to Director of DHS regarding various issues of Community Health Centre (CHC) Canacona to ensure better health services to the residents as well tourists who visits CHC Canacona.
According to Komarpant, DHS Director had promised to look into the matter and do whatever is possible.
In his representation to the DHS to improve health facilities in CHC Canacona, Komarpant raised the issues of Shortage of Medical Officers, Shortage of Pharmacists, Need ofregular Gynecologist, Paediatrician, ENT Specialist, Need of additional Junior Physician on Tuesday , Thursday and Saturday, Need of Ultrasound Technician, Need of 24 x 7 Radiologist and also complained about the On Duty Ambulance Driver not being present in hospital and informed that Ambulances are kept without maintenance.
Komarpant also highlighted the requirement of maintenance technicians for plumbing and electrical equipment, called for installation of biometric attendance systems for all CHC employees to ensure all the staff attend duty on time and leave on time.
Besides calling for Beautification of surroundings of CHC Canacona , has called for Reconstruction of Quarters for accommodation of visiting faculty.
