PANJIM: The North Goa Collectorate has directed the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) Commissioner to take necessary action against the old house, behind Head Post Office, portion of which had collapsed and the remaining is in dangerous position.
“It has been reported that the owner of the said structure has created the pathways but the part oc structure is in dangerous position and may collapse at anytime causing threat to surrounding areas.” the order by Collectorate North states
Further it also mentions that another old house near back side of Head Post Office, Patto had collapsed and remaining part of house is in dangerous position.
Therefore, the North Collectorate has directed CCP to take necessary steps in order to avoid any untoward incident in the area and submit compliance report by August 5.
