COLLEM: Health facilities in Collem are set for a major boost after a delegation met Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and sought urgent improvements.
Hon’ble Speaker Dr Ganesh Gaonkar, along with the Dharbandora Zilla Panchayat member, Collem Panchayat sarpanch, panch members and local residents, met the Chief Minister and highlighted the need to strengthen healthcare services in the area.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister assured that the ongoing RMD work will be completed within the next six months. He also stated that the RMD facility will be upgraded to a Primary Health Centre (PHC) to improve medical services for residents.
Additionally, the Chief Minister assured that a new 24×7 ambulance service will be made available immediately to cater to emergency needs in Collem and surrounding areas.
