COLVA: Colva Police have registered a case against a woman, a native of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, for allegedly molesting a Danish woman tourist in South Goa.
According to police sources, the incident occurred at a spa resort in Colva, where the foreign national had gone for a massage. The victim later approached the Colva Police and lodged a complaint, alleging inappropriate behaviour during the massage session.
Acting on the complaint, the police registered an offence under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) pertaining to outraging the modesty of a woman.
Police officials said further investigation is underway to establish the sequence of events and to record statements of those concerned.
