PANAJI: The state government today has dissolved the committee constituted for recommending proposals based on Regional Plan 2021.
“All approvals which are required to be approved by the Government as per the Statutes shall be referred to the Government for approval with the recommendation of Chief Town Planner (Planning). Consequently, the Committee constituted for recommending proposals based on Regional Plan 2021 stands dissolved,” the order by the Chief Secretary states.
Further, its states for revision, extension without exceeding the total area specified above shall also be dealt with and cleared at the respective hierarchical level as above.
“All applications of Development Permission including renewal of permission/ revision, NOC under Section 49(6) of the TCP Act, Zoning Certificate and Completion Order are to be processed and issued at the level of Member Secretary,” it says.
The order also states that the details of building projects (other than a single-family dwelling, repair, re-construction) cleared shall be informed to the Authority in the forthcoming meeting.
Town and Country Planning Department and PDAs shall scale up the online approval system (BPAMS) for all types of buildings up to a built-up area of 5,000 sq. mts. as an option to applicants while continuing with the offline method till further orders.
