SANQUELIM: A resident of Harvalem, Sanquelim, has lodged a complaint alleging that he was wrongfully restrained and threatened by a group of men near Khandola College, Marcel, Ponda.
According to the complaint filed by Ishwar Sawant, the incident occurred on 14 November 2025 between 09:15 hrs and 09:30 hrs while he was travelling to his workplace in Panjim. Sawant stated that Revanasiddappa Prabhuling Mantagi along with three unidentified persons, acting with common intention, allegedly used an Ertiga car to block his path and restrain him.
The complainant further claimed that the unidentified individuals attempted to assault him before fleeing the spot.
The case is currently under investigation by PSI Abhilash Naik of Mardol Police Station.
