A complaint has been lodged at Goa Police Cyber Cell for posting controversial post on social media attacking Hindu religion and its culture and tradition.
The complaint by Rajiv Jha of Gaonkarwada Usgao, Ponda alleged that Shilpa Surendra Pratap Singh who is working at V M Salagaoncar College of law situated at Miramar Goa as an Assistant professor and has a personal facebook account as Shilpa Surendra Pratap Singh has made a habit of posting controversial post on social media time and again attacking Hindu religion and its culture and tradition.
“In one of her recent facebook post she has categorically posted something which is high condemnable and disrespectful and also has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus and the said post is gone viral on social media,” the complainant says.
It adds, the said women leaves no opportunity under the disguise of freedom of speech to disrespect and spread hatred against Hindu religion
“The accused person is a habitual offender who habitually out of hatred towards he people of Sanatan Dharma Hindu Religion has time and again deliberately and intentionally used social media platform to hurt religious feelings and sentiments of public following Hindu religion,” the complainant says.
The concerned facebook posts are offensive: abusive and derogatory in nature and has made direct reference to our Hindu women wearing Mangalsutra to dogs who are chained.
Jha says Singh wrote “I don’t know since childhood i see chained dog when I see women in Mangalsutra and I see covered electronics in Indian middle class households when i see a women in burkha.”
