Panaji:- It’s not just misgovernance but failed governance of Aam Aadmi Party Govt in Delhi that there is an uncontrolled massive spike in COVID cases, unchecked and severe increase in pollution and a scary rise in crime leading to Delhi collapsing, states Ms Swati Shet Kerkar Spokeswoman Goa Pradesh Congress Committee.
She further said every fourth Indian who dies of COVID daily is in Delhi (which accounts for more than 25% of daily COVID deaths in India). Of this, 13% of the rise in COVID cases is linked to a rise in pollution. Throughout the year Delhi is gripped with pollution but AAP Govt neither addresses the problem nor has a solution except for blaming others spending crores on crafty PR campaigns to cover up their failures and divert people’s attention to unimportant issues.
Kerkar further added that crime against women in the capital is rising dangerously with Delhi reporting minimum three rapes every day in 2019, the year when overall crime in the national capital went up by 20% compared to the previous year, according to the latest NCRB Report. People’s hard-earned money is being divested with the capital witnessing over 126 vehicle thefts every day.
Kejriwal’s much pooh-poohed Delhi Model of Administration should be called Delhi Model of Corruption judging by the record increase in corruption cases by public servants under the Prevention of Corruption Act in 2019 slammed Kerkar.
CM Arvind Kejriwal is spending more time and money just like Modi trying to portray a rosy picture of Delhi via publicity campaigns rather than finding capping pressing issues or finding concrete solutions to issues plaguing Delhi said Kerkar.
Hitting both at Governments in Delhi and Goa, Swati adds that both are the worst COVID managed states in the country. While AAP in Delhi which comes to Goa to advertise its’ healthcare model yet has let down the people of Delhi in its complete failure to contain COVID, BJP in Goa is hiding behind lesser testing and community tracing and lax COVID protocols to bring Goa again under COVID red zone. The mandatory necessity of furnishing a COVID negative report by Maharastra Govt both for Delhi as well as Goa citizens entering Maharastra is a testimony that people can be fooled that all is well in Delhi and Goa as far as COVID is concerned. While AAP in Goa seems to have forgotten COVID and joins hands with BJP to divert attention away from COVID mismanagement in the state and their bastion in Delhi, BJP Goa is working in tandem with AAP to divert attention away from their failure to completely plug COVID incidence in the state.
