Nagoa: Congress Workers under the leadership of Sankalp Amonkar along with Amarnath Panjikar, Janardhan Bhandari,Varad Mardolkar and other members protested at Nagoa,Verna football ground demanding business for Goans during ISL football tournament to be held in Goa.
Mumbai City team players were not allowed to get down from the UP registered bus for the training session along with other taxis from other states also were stopped of the management & coach.
UP bus was sent back by Congress Workers by shouting slogans ” Go back ” we Want Business for Goan”
After giving assurance by the management to discuss the issue tommorow regarding the business to locals the congress workers agreed to leave the venue near Nagoa football ground.
Congress delegation will meet the ISL management tomorrow evening to discuss the issue.
Congress in a press conference held on 10th November 2020 had demanded that the bus,taxi, Generator,Sound and other required services for the tournament should be given to Goans only.
