Aam Aadmi Party has taken strong exception to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s double statements on cultivating cannabis in Goa while at the same time very strongly castigating the Indian National Congress for likening Goans to pigs.
AAP Goa Convener Rahul Mhambre very sternly asked the ruling BJP to come clear on its stand on cannabis cultivation in Goa and said BJP leaders are speaking in different languages merely to confuse the people as they have already struck a deal with drug mafia to fill up their pockets.
“BJP union minister Shripad Naik proposes cultivation of cannabis in Goa, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant says cannabis plantation is not allowed at the moment, but then Power Minister Nilesh Cabral says cannabis will be cultivated. So what exactly is the truth?” he asked
He pointed out that a union minister proposed it, a state minister says they will do it and the by now established habitual liar says it will not be done and wondered whom to believe. “The fotting chief minister cannot be believed as he has been lying all along,” he said.
AAP’s Surel Tilve opined that the BJP has already struck a deal with the drug mafia to cultivate cannabis in Goa and what is happening at the moment is just a nautanki to hoodwink the people while in reality in 2021 Goans will realise that marijuana plantation has already come up.
“Just as the labour gate scam documents will be fudged to show that the cannabis is sold for medicinal purpose when in reality it will be provided to the drug mafia to sell in the open market to drug addicts and also to make other addicted to it,” Said Surel
Aam Aadmi Party took strong exception to the Congress Party likening Goans to pigs and said this is the reward that the Congress is giving Goans who allowed it to rule them for so long. He pointed out that Aashish Kamat of the Congress has very clearly and loudly said “the pigs are Goan…”
Further in a Facebook post the said Aashish wondered “which pigs elect such pigs” implying that Goans who elected the Congress MLA who defected to the BJP were pig as were the MLAs who defected.
AAP strongly demanded an apology from the Congress for calling Goans pigs and from the ruling BJP it demanded a clear statement on the cultivation of marijuana in Goa.
