This development comes after Mohamed sparked outrage by calling Sharma “fat” and questioning his leadership following India’s recent victory over New Zealand in the Champions Trophy.
Mohamed’s 2018 post criticized Kohli for his response to a fan who preferred watching English and Australian batsmen. Kohli had suggested that such fans should consider living elsewhere if they didn’t appreciate Indian cricket. Mohamed’s post highlighted the irony of Kohli’s statement, given his involvement with foreign brands and his admiration for international sports figures.
The resurfacing of this post has led many to question whether Mohamed has a broader issue with Indian cricket players, given her recent criticism of Sharma.
