CANACONA: Authorities in Canacona have activated dedicated control rooms and issued extensive traffic regulations ahead of the 550th year celebrations of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevotham Math and the proposed visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister on November 28, 2025. The taluka, district and police control rooms will operate for real-time monitoring, incident response and public assistance, with citizens advised to use emergency number 112 or contact the Canacona Taluka Control Room (9272057863), District Control Room (0832-2794100) or Canacona Police Control Room (0832-2633357) for support during the event. The Collector and District Magistrate (South Goa) has also notified temporary parking arrangements, no-parking zones, restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles, zig-zag barricading, and specific road closures and diversions as part of a comprehensive traffic plan for the unveiling of the 77-foot bronze idol and the inauguration of 3D projection mapping at the Math.
