PANAJI: Close to 1500 applications, which were either granted provisional approvals or final approvals, will be kept untouched pending matter in the high court, said TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane.
“Out of the 6000 applications of 1B, 1222 are provisional approvals, and 253 are final approvals. This matter is subjudice,” said Rane.
He further said that the rest application pertaining to 16B will be withdrawn.
Rane also informed the House that the TCP department is reviewing all in-principle approvals granted under Section 16B of the TCP Act.
In November 2019, the state government had assured the high court of Bombay at Goa that no final approvals would be granted to new proposals till the court passed final orders.
