OLD GOA: Joydahan Bharali has been placed under arrest for ten days in relation to the Corlim murder of fellow labourer Tapan Tiwari.
The accused Bharali is suspected of stabbing the deceased Tiwari to death with a scissor following an argument on Sunday night between the two after they had consumed alcohol.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s post-mortem examination showed that shock and bleeding from an incisive puncture that damaged an underlying important organ were the cause of death.
Old Goa PI Yogesh Sawant is doing additional investigations under the direction of SDPO Sudesh Naik and SP Nidhin Valsan.
