OLD GOA: Old Goa Police have registered an offence against a couple for allegedly criminally trespassing into a neighbour’s private garden and carrying out an illegal balcony extension at the Gera River of Joy residential complex in Tiswadi.
According to police, the complaint was filed by Mrs. Pranali Naik (34), a resident of Flat No. B-3001, Gera River of Joy, Zone A, Old Goa. Based on her complaint, the offence was registered on February 25, 2026, at 10:30 pm.
As per the complaint, the incident occurred on April 14, 2025, at the same housing complex. The accused have been identified as Nishant Mane and Mrs. Vaishali Mane, residents of Flat No. B-3101 in the same building.
The complainant alleged that both accused, acting with common intention, criminally trespassed into her private garden area and carried out an illegal extension of their balcony encroaching into her property. When she objected and intervened, the accused allegedly abused her and threatened her, reportedly saying, “Come on top he will show you.”
Police have registered the case and further investigation is underway under the supervision of LPSI Jasvita Naik.
