South Goa Collector on Thursday has ordered to shut down Tulip Diagnostics Pvt Ltd industry at Verna industrial estate for 14 days after some reports of Covid19 positive cases were found.

Industry situated at Plot No.92,’96, Phase II. C, Verna Industrial Estate, Salcete-Goa. In order to contain the spread of virus among other employees at their employment work place and at time of travel from home to Industry premises, it is expedient to
order closure of industry for a period of 14 days by invoking relevant provisions under Disaster Management Act, 2005.” The order states
Therefore, the officials, staff and employees are directed to compulsorily remain under Home Quarantine for a period of 14 days of the date of this Order.
