PANJIM: The Covid cases has crossed the 20,000 mark in Goa with 592 new cases being recorded today. The recoveries were 534 while nine deaths were reported today.
As per the DHS bulletin, a 80 yeers Male from Shiroda, 76 years Male from Penha de Franca, 62 years Male from Madkai, 38 years Male from Karaswada, and 35 years Male from Zuarinagar admitted at Goa Medical College & Hospital. all with co-morbid conditions expired yesterday.
Further, a 65 years Female from Sanvordem, 83 years male from Nageshi, and 51 years Maie from Velim admitted at Goa Medical College & Hospital. all with co-morbid conditions, expired today.
Another 68 years Female from Maulingem Bicholim admitted at Goa Medical College & Hospital
expired today.
Out of 2515 Semples, 1510 samples were Negative, 592 were Positive, while 413 reports are awaited.
At present patients in Isolation wards are 167 whereas people quarantined at various residencies/Hoteis are 24.
Meanwhile, the confirmed cases are 20,455 and the active cases tally stands at 4945. The total recoveries are 15281 and the total death tally is 229.
