The COVID19 fatalities continued in Goa with three more patients succumbing to the virus while 286 new cases were recorded on Monday.
The COVID Bulletin says that 72 year old male from Merces, admitted at ESI COVID hospital with co-morbid conditions died while two others – one 70 year female from Sanguem and 68 year female from Vasco, admitted at Goa Medical College, Bambolim with co-morbid conditions succumbed.
The State now has 6816 confirmed cases while 4876 recoveries. The Active cases are now 1884 and the death toll is 56
On Monday, 3248 samples were taken, out of which 1979 are negative, 286 are positive, and 983 reports are awaited.
In North Goa, Chimbel PHC crossed the 100 mark recording 104 cases so far. Seven new cases were also reported in capital city of Panjim taking the total of active cases to 79.
