VASCO/ MAYEM: The next time Goa sees a rise in COVID19 cases, Blame it on Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and BJP State president Sadanand Shet Tanawade be held responsible for gathering huge crowds even during COVID19 induced curfew.
Chief Minister and Tanawade are on a Statewide tour and drawing a massive crowd for their rallies.
The rallies and tours are nothing but show-of strength ahead of forthcoming Assembly elections at the beginning of 2022.
Goa has still not defeated the second phase of COVID19 as the number of cases is still around 100 and deaths around 3 to four per day.
The last time when teh second wave hit Goa, Chief Minister Sawant was quick to blame the Goans, saying “they did not follow the SOPs.”
Now, if the chief minister and the party head themselves are not following SOPs, who does he blame?
Hopefully, he accepts the blame in case the third wave strikes Goa shortly.
It may be recalled Goa lost 1700-odd innocent lives in May 2021 as the Government failed to implement SOPs in time.
With Goa open for domestic tourists again (those who have taken COVID19 jabs) and negative COVID19 certificates.
