PANAJI: Crickokers Hospitality, a well-known name in sports tourism since its incorporation in 2019, is set to host the second edition of the All India 50+ Players Cricket Tournament in Goa from April 4 to April 6, 2025. The tournament will take place at three venues: Margao Cricket Club (MCC), Arlem Ground, and SAG Chicalim, and will feature eight veteran teams from across the country, bringing together seasoned cricketers who have significantly contributed to the sport. Around 100 cricketers will take part in this prestigious event.
The first edition of the tournament, held in May 2024, saw teams from Indore, Delhi, Dharwad, and Mumbai competing in a spirited display of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. This initiative is part of a growing movement to keep the passion for cricket alive among veteran players, offering them a competitive platform to showcase their enduring love for the game. The upcoming tournament will follow a T20 format, featuring eight teams—Central Strikers (Indore), Rising Star XI (North India), Omtex ICWC – Western Lions (Mumbai), DCA (Dharwad), Palakkad Veterans (Kerala), Western United (Mumbai), Rest of India (Delhi), and Crickokers (Goa). Matches will be played across the three designated grounds in Goa, promising an exciting and high-energy competition.
