Crime Branch of Goa Police have raided two at 02 seperate places in South Goa and seized gambling money and articles.
In the first raid on last night conducted at Nr Old railway station, Margao accused person namely mr. Manjunath Yaragatti, 28 yrs R/o Margao Goa was caught red handed while accepting matka bets during which Rs. 15,900/- and gambling articles were seized.
During the second raid conducted today on 12/09/2020 at 02:30 pm at Chapoli, Canacona a total of Rs. 22,000/- was seized from accused person Mr. Ram Raikar R/o Canacona while he was accepting matka bets.
Both the accused persons were placed under arrest and FIR’s under section 11(2)(a) of Public Gambling Act have been registered.
