Stating that the State has three option for mining resumption in the State, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday said that a final decision would be taken in a meeting at Delhi.
“The next meeting will be with the mines minister and ASG in Delhi alongwith the GMOEA where the issue will be discussed,” Sawant said.
Sawant said the State has three options for the resumption of mining in the State.
He said that the abolition of MMDR Act, Mining Corporation and auctioning of mining leases are the three options before the State.
Sawant last week met Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital on the issue.
About the meeting with GMOEA, he said various way outs were discussed which will be presented before the union minister.
Sawant also said that he wants mining to start early as he is concerned for dependents and not mine owners.
