Cuncolim: The 1st All Goa Inter-Village Mansion House Cup 2025 witnessed a dominant display from Cuncolim Union, who overpowered Varca SC 3–0 at the Cuncolim Ground to advance into the next round.
In front of a lively crowd of over 1,000 spectators, both sides fought hard, but it was Varca’s Hayden Fernandes who squandered the game’s first big chance in the 20th minute, failing to convert a golden opportunity.
Cuncolim Union then took control of the match, striking three times in just five minutes before the break. Wilson Fernandes broke the deadlock in the 35th minute, followed by Tushar Gaunker three minutes later. Soon after, Joliton Fernandes added the third in the 40th minute, effectively sealing the contest before halftime.
For his impactful performance, Joliton Fernandes was named Man of the Match, receiving the award from Videsh Dessai.
