MARGAO: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated UBD Colva 4-0 to enter into the quarterfinals of the 13th Benaulim Panchayat Cup 2024 organised by United Club of Benaulim and played at Dando football ground Benaulim.
Curtorim Gymkhana dominated from the word go and scored the first goal by Anslem Fernandes assist by Milagres Fernandes with a powerful shoot from the box in the 11th minute of the game while Vicky Cardozo missed to level terms for Colva.
Meanwhile, Curtorim Gymkhana increased their tally by Alister Fernandes beating the defence and goalkeeper and at half time score remained 2-0 in favour of Curtorim.
Changing over Colvas Kabir Khan power power-packed shot missed the target. Josslan Fernandes of Curtorim Gymkhana scored the third goal and in the dying minutes, Alister Fernandes completed his brace for Curtorim.
